WASHINGTON — Cesar Hernandez became Philadelphia's first baserunner against Tanner Roark with a soft bunt single in the fourth inning. Hernandez had a much longer hit in the eighth that propelled the Phillies to a win.

Hernandez's tiebreaking, two-run homer off Joe Blanton lifted Philadelphia over the Washington Nationals 4-2 Saturday to stop a four-game losing streak.
