The Mount Dennis Community Association is inviting residents of the neighbourhood to pitch and help clean up the local ravine.
The organization is hosting community cleanup days on all five Saturdays in April. Cleanups begin at 10 a.m. each of the days.
Spring cleanups begin April 1 at Pinehill Crescent and Jane Street. Participants should meet up at the Pinehill Crescent/Bartonville Avenue West and Jane Street area.

April 8’s clean up happens at the Sunnybrae Crescent and Somerville Avenue ravine edges. Both roads are off Weston Road. Meet west of Glenvalley Drive.
On April 15, the clean up will happen along Dora Spencer Road and Portage Gardens Park. Meet on Dora Spencer and Weston Road.
On April 22, the clean up happens at the ravine edges near Lambton and Astoria avenues area. Meet right at Lambton and Astoria avenues.
The final clean up on April 29 happens along Emmett Avenue. Meet at Emmett and Verona avenues.

The community association has been hosting clean ups for several years, and it chooses different sites from year to year, generally along the ravine of the Humber River, as well as at Eglinton Flats, and along with other areas of Mount Dennis.
