Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the city of Toronto and the rest of the GTA May 30.
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop and move eastward across parts of Ontario this afternoon. Some of these storms may contain wind gusts of 90 kilometres per hour , two-centimetre hail, torrential downpours and frequent lightning.
Be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions, Environment Canada said.
