Tomic to miss Australia-United States Davis Cup tie

BRISBANE, Australia — Australia captain Lleyton Hewitt named an unchanged lineup for next month's Davis Cup world group tennis quarterfinal against the United States in Brisbane as former team member Bernard Tomic remained out of favour.

Hewitt stood by Jordan Thompson who won both his singles on debut against the Czech Republic in Australia's most-recent tie, which Tomic chose to miss citing scheduling issues.
