Police are searching for a male suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the Royal Bank on Broadview Ave., just south of Danforth Avenue.
The incident happened on Friday, June 20 at about 5:45 p.m.
Investigators report the suspect entered the premises and approached the counter before producing a gun and a box cutter style knife and demanding an employee hand over cash.

The victim complied and handed over a quantity of money before the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’8", 161 pounds, about 25 years old with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white and black baseball cap with a ‘brass knuckles’ logo, and had earrings in both ears.
Police believe this suspect could be the "Mummy Bandit" and may be involved in a number of recent bank robberies in the downtown area.
