Blue-coloured toxic substance found in Leslieville
Detectives from 55 Division are investigating after a toxic blue-coloured substance was found late afternoon Thursday, Dec. 4 in Leslieville near Duke of Connaught Junior and Senior Public School at 70 Woodfield Road, just north of Queen Street East.
Detectives from 55 Division are investigating after a toxic blue-coloured substance was found late afternoon Thursday, Dec. 4 in Leslieville near Duke of Connaught Junior and Senior Public School at 70 Woodfield Road, just north of Queen Street East.
The substance, which was left out in the open and not concealed in food, has been sent to a laboratory for testing. Results are pending.
At this point, police do not have any information that the poison was intentionally placed there and are exploring the possibility that this incident is a case of irresponsible dumping.
