The 26th annual edition of Carolling in the (Glen Stewart) Park is set to take place Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Those interested in taking part should meet near Glen Manor Drive at Queen Street East, just south of the wooden bridge.
As always, Carolling in the Park will feature traditional Christmas carols and contemporary holiday-themed songs with accompaniment by the Salvation Army band and choir from Beach United Church. Song sheets will be available.

Hot apple cider and hot chocolate will be served and a collection will also be taken up for the Salvation Army.
Santa Claus is also expected to be on hand distributing candy canes to children.
Longtime Beach residents Nancy and Jim Palmer organized the first Carolling in the Park sing-a-long in 1988 as a way to bring a little holiday cheer to their community after attending a similar event in Mississauga’s Port Credit neighbourhood.
In recent years, David Breech, the 2006 Beach Citizen of the Year, has organized the community event.

People are advised to dress warmly and bring a flashlight.
