Boy, 16, charged in connection with holdups at Etobicoke pharmacies

Police say that, in each incident, four males arrived at the store in a stolen car, entered and approached the employees. 

They allegedly took what police describe as “physical control” of the employees then demanded narcotics and cash. In the first incident, they reportedly fled in a stolen car and drove to the second store.

There, they tried to flee in the stolen car but couldn’t drive away, so fled on foot, police said.

Police searched the area, and found one person, whom they arrested. Police say they recovered some of the stolen narcotics.

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with two counts each of robbery, wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police are looking for three more suspects.
