A man has been charged following a public appeal to help identify a suspect in the investigation of a sexual assault at the Eaton Centre Friday, March 17.

A woman reported that she was sexually assaulted and screamed, and the man smiled and walked away, shortly after 3 p.m.
Toronto police released a photo of the suspect and appealed for help identifying him Monday, March 20.

On Tuesday, March 21, police announced a suspect had been identified.
Omar Johnson, 28, of no fixed address, has been charged with sexual assault and obstructing a peace officer. The latter charge stemmed from Johnson allegedly identifying himself as someone else when he was arrested.
Investigators are concerned there could be more victims.
