Toronto police say the death of a man found in the vicinity of Chester Le Boulevard in Scarborough is being investigated as a homicide.
Gunshots were reported being heard in the area around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 15, according to the police who attended the scene at the time.
But it wasn't until 8 a.m. the same morning that the body of a man without vital signs was found by a local resident on Morecambe Gate, near a shopping plaza.

A police spokesperson declined to provide any details on cause of death or identity of the victim but has confirmed the victim is 24 years old.
Police are searching for two suspects in connection with the incident.
Investigators are currently reviewing security footage of the area and say there is no danger to the general public since they believe the victim was targeted.
Police are also investigating a separate shooting in the same neighbourhood which took place around 6 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 13. Two adult males were found with gunshot wounds and transported to hospital.Â
