Show off your blooms in this year’s garden competition hosted by the City of Toronto.
The deadline for nominations in the Etobicoke York Districts contest is Sunday, July 6.
Categories are:

• Residential gardens, which include only the front and side yard, in the sub-categories of traditional or alternative garden
• Commercial and industrial gardens
• Other properties, which includes such sites as apartment buildings, churches, townhouse complexes and schools
You can nominate your own garden or someone else’s by filling out a nomination forms and submitting by fax to 416-392-0044, email to greatgardens@toronto.ca or dropping off at the Etobicoke Civic Centre, 399 The West Mall, at Burnhamthorpe Road, at the Parks, Forestry & Recreation reception desk on the main floor.

The contest is open to residents in Wards 1 to 7, 11 to 13 and 17. Winners will be honoured at an award ceremony in the fall. The garden chosen as best in Etobicoke York will compete for Toronto’s city-wide garden of the year award.
