A man is in hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg after an early-morning altercation in the Bathurst Street/Wellington Avenue area Jan. 28.

According to Toronto Police, the call came in at 3:07 a.m. Police spokesperson Police Constable Craig Brister said it appeared that the shooting occurred in a fight between three males.

“I gather it’s not life-threatening,” said Brister. Police have cleared the scene and there is no suspect description.

The shooting is the second one to occur Friday night to Saturday morning. At about 7 p.m., a gunshot victim walked in to the Humber Region Memorial Hospital’s Keele Street location with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no description of the suspects, said Brister, as the victim appears to have been uncooperative.
