An in-person workshop for those interested in helping create a digital story map of the city’s east end will take place Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1298 Danforth Ave, 2nd Floor.
Hosted by East End Arts, the free event will run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Participants are invited to share a picture and story about how the east end inspires them.
Those who can’t attend the workshop but still want to take part in Inspired By, an online mapping project to create a collective story of the east end, are welcome to submit a photo in your neighbourhood with a story (written or audio) inspired by it. Visit http://eastendarts.ca/inspired-by/ for more details. Deadline for submissions is November 22.
A launch party celebration for the Inspired By project is set to take place Thursday, Nov. 27, from 7 to 10 p.m., also at 1298 Danforth Ave., 2nd Floor.
