Conservative leadership hopefuls to square off in Eglinton-Lawrence
The Conservative Party of Canada’s Eglinton-Lawrence Electoral District Association is hosting an all-candidates’ meeting to introduce the party faithful to Conservative leadership hopefuls in the next federal election.
The Conservative Party of Canada’s Eglinton-Lawrence Electoral District Association is hosting an all-candidates’ meeting to introduce the party faithful to Conservative leadership hopefuls in the next federal election.
Moderated by former Finance Minister Joe Oliver, the meeting will feature more than a dozen aspiring Conservative leadership candidates who will deliver opening statements, answer questions and take part in a meet and greet with guests.
Chris Alexander, Maxim Bernier, Steven Blaney, Michael Chong, Kelly Leitch, Pierre Lemieux, Deepak Obhrai, Kevin O’Leary, Erin O’Toole, Rick Peterson, Lisa Raitt, Andrew Saxton, Andrew Scheer, and Brad Trost are all confirmed to attend.

The event will take place at the Eglinton Grand, 400 Eglinton Avenue West, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 2.
