An autopsy performed on the weekend has reportedly confirmed that smoke inhalation was the cause of an elderly woman’s death after her Riverdale home caught fire and collapsed Friday.

The woman’s body was recovered in the rubble at about 2 p.m., nearly 10 hours after the fire erupted.
