Eleven division police are concerned for the well being of a missing boy, who was last seen in the Junction on Wednesday, June 18.
Shawn Walters, 15, was last seen in the area of Evelyn Avenue and Evelyn Crescent at 1 p.m. He is described as black with a light complexion, 5’7", 130 pounds, thin build, with short black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, black pants and black running shoes.
Det. Spencer McDonald of 11 Division’s Family Services Unit, said officers have learned Shawn has been active on social media since he went missing.

"We’ve reached out to him," McDonald told The Villager. "Given his age, we’re concerned. A 15-year-old doesn’t really have the financial means or emotional capacity to be on his own."
Eleven Division would like to get the word out that he is not in any trouble with police.
"We want to help him with anything he’s dealing with at home," McDonald said. "He’s likely with friends."
Police are requesting the public’s assistance to locate Shawn. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1100, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), online at www.222tips.com, text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637), or leave a tip on Facebook.
