Police return to scene of stabbing death on High Park Avenue to reassure residents, canvass for clues

As part of its investigation into a stabbing death at an apartment building on High Park Avenue, police visited the complex Sunday to further canvass and reassure residents.

Police have identified the victim as Musa Yusuf, 52, of Toronto. He is the city’s 56th homicide of 2014. Officers were called to 100 High Park Ave. Tuesday, Dec. 9, around 8:40 p.m. where they discovered Yusuf with multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
