The Riverside Business Improvement Area, with the support of Chef Scott Savoie of The Culinary Adventure Company, alongside Rick Aulier and Scott Brockington from An SibÃn Pub, is excited to host an Irish fry-up for a great cause on Friday, Dec. 19.
The Riverside Business Improvement Area, with the support of Chef Scott Savoie of The Culinary Adventure Company, alongside Rick Aulier and Scott Brockington from An SibÃn Pub, is excited to host an Irish fry-up for a great cause on Friday, Dec. 19.
The third annual Holiday Antler Breakfast for Charity: A Riverside Holiday Charity Tradition will run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at An SibÃn Pub, 709 Queen St. E. at Broadview Avenue. Seatings will be held at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
The event will also include live music and raffle prizes. Santa Claus is also expected to be in attendance.
Proceeds from the Holiday Antler Breakfast for Charity: A Riverside Holiday Charity Tradition will benefit the Rivertowne Breakfast Program, which was championed by Joan King, of the Safety First Program, along with the Rivertowne Community Association and the Ralph Thornton Centre.
This program, which is currently funded by local mothers, provides children and youth in the neighbourhood with a free, warm breakfast once a week. It also aims to bring young people in the Rivertowne community together regardless of their family’s income level and give them something to look forward to while building a sense of community.
