A six-year-old Scarborough girl is fighting for life after the go-kart she was driving slammed into two vehicles in a Pickering parking lot Tuesday night.
A six-year-old Scarborough girl is fighting for life after the go-kart she was driving slammed into two vehicles in a Pickering parking lot Tuesday night.
The crash happened in an industrial parking lot on Clements Road at 9:29 p.m. on July 1.
Durham Regional Police said the girl was driving a racing go-kart under adult supervision when she lost control and hit two parked vehicles.

The child, who wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time, suffered a serious head injury and injuries to her hands.
She was taken to the Rouge Valley Health System’s Ajax-Pickering hospital and later airlifted to the Hospital for Sick Children where she remains in critical condition.
