The City of Toronto is once again looking for Scarborough’s most beautiful front gardens for this year’s Trillium Garden Awards.
From July 14 to 29, nominated gardens will be judged for design, use of plant material, condition and maintenance, hard landscaping, environmental practices, community contribution and distinction.
These gardens are also judged according to its category type: residential-traditional, residential-environmental/alternative, commercial/industrial and codominiums/apartment buildings.

If you would like to nominate a home or business, nominations are due Monday, July 7.
Nominations forms are available at all Scarborough community centres, the Scarborough Civic Centre, Agincourt Garden Club and the Scarborough Garden and Horticultural Society.
Nominations can be submitted by phone at 416-396-4862, by email at trilliumgardenawards@toronto.ca , or sent to the Scarborough Civic Centre’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation branch office on the fifth floor of 150 Borough Dr.
