There’s no shortage of free transit options all night New Year’s Eve.
For the second year in a row the TTC will offer free rides across its network after 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 until 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 1. During that time, all TTC services, including the subway and the Scarborough RT are completely free to use.
Along with the zero dollar fares the TTC is promising extended subway service on all lines, with last trains on the Yonge-University-Spadina and Bloor-Danforth lines scheduled to depart around 3:30 a.m. On the Sheppard line the last ride is expected to leave from Sheppard-Yonge station just before 4 a.m.

Most major bus and streetcar routes will also offer extended service until about 3:30 a.m. The TTC’s Blue Night Network will also be in operation to offer service into the morning of New Year’s Day.
Free parking is also available after 3 p.m. at all TTC station lots.
The subway will re-open 9 a.m. Jan. 1.
GO Transit will also offer free train and bus rides on New Year’s Eve, after 8 p.m. Extra trips are also planned for overnight travel, including on the Lakeshore East and West lines. GO is also reminding Presto fare card users not to tap on once the free period kicks in.
