Toronto East General Hospital (TEGH) has been awarded a top national prize for honouring its commitment to and excellence in providing a high-quality workplace for staff that supports their physical and mental wellbeing, and contributes to excellent patient care.

For the second time, TEGH has received the Order of Excellence Award for Quality and Healthy Workplace, which is the highest honour. The annual awards program recognizes outstanding achievements by organizations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors from across Canada. This year marks the organization’s 30th anniversary.
