Tory declares conflicts of interest in advance of officially becoming mayor

Mayor-elect John Tory won’t be taking part in any debates on the future of the Billy Bishop Airport, nor will he be dealing with any matters regarding his wife Barbara’s home renovation company, to avoid running afoul of conflict of interest rules.

Mayor-elect John Tory won’t be taking part in any debates on the future of the Billy Bishop Airport, nor will he be dealing with any matters regarding his wife Barbara’s home renovation company, to avoid running afoul of conflict of interest rules.

In addition, Tory said in a statement that he has resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Rogers and Metro Inc.
