Twin sisters from Scarborough, Alexia and Kayleigh Sottile, recently won the gold medal at the under-13 girls Ontario Beach Provincial Volleyball Championships.
The provincial championships were held at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto on Saturday Aug. 6.
The Sottile sisters team up to with the gold medal in the Premier Division, which is the top division in Ontario.
The girls are members of the Scarborough Titans Volleyball Club, and play year-round with the club.
They are coached by Mark Sutton of the Scarborough Titans.
