Cinco de Mayo is a day of celebration and commemoration of the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. For most of us, it's transformed into a day of celebrating Mexican culture, cuisine, music—and yes, tequila. This year Cinco de Mayo falls on a Friday, giving most of us a weekend to recover from any tequila-induced hangovers.
