June is here and festival season is heating up! Now in its twelfth year, the Toronto Festival of Clowns showcases a variety of performances by clowns and physical theatre artists. The festival features Cirque Du Soleil alumni, international guests, and Morro and Jasp host the opening night cabaret. On stage at the Factory Theatre.

Luminato returns from June 14 to 25 at venues across the city. The international multi-arts festival open with Tributaries, a free, large-scale celebration of Indigenous culture, features two Canadian-made world premieres, as well as a daily schedule of performances in The Famous Spiegeltent (an ornate 1920s travelling pavilion from Belgium).

Other arts events include the National Ballet of Canada's iconic ballet, Swan Lake on stage at the Four Seasons Centre. VIBE Arts, an award-winning charitable arts education organization, unveil the 150+ Reasons We Love Canada project in acknowledgment of Canada’s 150 birthday.
Music lovers don't want to miss the best new music at North By North East. This year's NXNE's Port Lands Festival is headlined by Passion Pit, Tyler the Creator and Post Malone. John Legend will also be hitting the stage this month with his Darkness and Light Tour.  The TD Toronto Jazz Festival is back this month with more than 100 free concerts in the city. The legendary Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin will bring her extraordinary voice to the festival, as well as Joss Stone and Gregory Porter.
June is also a great month of foodies. A new annual event, Foodalicious celebrates gourmet street food, bringing together some of the best food trucks that Toronto has to offer. Toronto Taste returns with an event made for serious gourmands, as the best of Toronto’s food world go head-to-head.
